First of all, some good news and answered prayers: I am happy to report that 11 of our neighbors have recovered from the virus. However - we now have 101 reported cases COVID-19, so this is no time to put our guard down. Today, Governor Murphy reported 2,196 new COVID-19 cases, bringing New Jersey's total positive cases to 18,696 and 267 deaths statewide. Governor Murphy Suspends All Elective Surgeries, Invasive Procedures TRENTON --As part of the state's effort to preserve the capacity of the health care system to respond to COVID-19, Governor Phil Murphy today signed Executive Order No. 109, directing the suspension of all elective surgeries and invasive procedures performed on adults that are scheduled to take place after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
