Prior to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) was available to assist with victims of domestic violence at your police station. Although the volunteers currently cannot physically report to the police station, there are still supportive resources available that we encourage you to utilize for the victims. Domestic violence professionals are available to speak with victims 24 hours a day. They will be able to provide the victim with support, resources and answer questions. Metropolitan Medical, a division of Salerno Medical, in partnership with Accurate Labs is dedicating its site at 570 Park Ave., East Orange NJ to test first responders of Essex County.
