Prior to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) was available to assist with victims of domestic violence at your police station. Although the volunteers currently cannot physically report to the police station, there are still supportive resources available that we encourage you to utilize for the victims. Domestic violence professionals are available to speak with victims 24 hours a day. TESTING AVAILABLE - Beginning APRIL 20 For Our Essex County FIRST RESPONDERS . Metropolitan Medical, a division of Salerno Medical, in partnership with Accurate Labs is dedicating its site at 570 Park Ave., East Orange NJ to test first responders of Essex County. The site will be open 8:00am - 8:00pm Monday - Saturday (starting 4/20/20).  Salerno Medical will be offering testing for acute, active infection (nasal/oral swabbing), as well as past infection (immunity blood testing ). If your non-profit organization assisted the community during the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, you may be eligible for reimbursement of costs through FEMA. The City of Orange Township invites you to attend an online GoTo Meeting this Friday, April 17, 2020, at 2:00 pm to get more information and /or assistance in applying for reimbursement of funds through this FEMA program. This is Mayor Dwayne Warren, with an update during this holiest of weeks, with an update on the coronovirus outbreak and our Administration's response. Currently, we have 296 positive coronavirus cases in Orange. We have lost 6 souls to this disease and we have 17 people who are in recovery. COVID-19 is a continuing threat to our health and safety.
