AVAILABILITY OF PETITIONS OF NOMINATION OFFICE OF ESSEX COUNTY COMMITTEE CANDIDATE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:23-8 et seq., N.J.S.A. 19:23-14, and all other applicable provisions of New Jersey election law, the Petitions of Nomination for candidates seeking election to the Office of Essex County Committee for the City of Orange Township will be available beginning Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Petition packets may be obtained in person at the Office of the Municipal Clerk, City Hall, 4th Floor, 29 North Day Street, Orange, New Jersey 07050

The deadline for filing completed Petitions of Nomination for candidates seeking election to the County Committee of the Democratic or Republican Party for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election is Monday, March 23, 2026, no later than 4:00 p.m., in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:23-14. Petitions must be received and filed in the Office of the Municipal Clerk by the stated deadline. Petitions submitted after 4:00 p.m. will not be accepted.
