PUBLIC NOTICE TO CITIZENS
OF ORANGE TOWNSHIP
Ballots can be returned to a secure drop box, the United States Postal Service (USPS) or to the County Board of Elections.
A Vote-by-Mail Ballot Drop Box will be located at: City of Orange Township, CITY HALL, 29 North Day Street, Orange, New Jersey
Ballots retuned through USPS with a postmark on or before May 10th, 2022 will be counted as a valid ballot by the County Clerk, if received by 4:30PM on Monday, May 16, 2022. Ballots without a postmark that are received by the County Board of Elections on or before May 10th by 8:00PM shall be considered valid. Every registered voter will have the option to complete a provisional ballot on Election Day at a designated polling site.

- Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 – To register to vote or change your address. Orange City Hall will be open until 9:00PM.
- Monday, May 9th, 2022 (by 3:00PM) – To file Mail-In-Ballot application in person in the Office of the County Clerk.
- Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 (by 8:00PM) – To deliver an in-person Mail-In-Ballot to Essex County Board of Elections
- Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 (by 8:00PM) – To place your completed Mail-In-Ballot in any Essex County Mail-In-Ballot drop box
