CCABC CALLS ON TRENTON CITY COUNCIL TO BROADEN THE SELECTION POOL OF PERSONS TO REPLACE RESIGNED COUNCILMAN BLAKELY
The Capital City Area Black Caucus (CCABC) announced today that they call upon Trenton City Council to broaden the selection pool of candidates being considered to replace Jerel Blakeley who resigned to take an out of state job. CCABC wants Council to consider ethnic diversity, skill set and background as well as a history of service to Trenton. CCABC in making this announcement suggest for Council deliberation that the names of Trenton Educator Yazminelly Gonzalez, Trenton Businessman Tracey Syphax, Trenton School Board Member Gene Bouie, Friendship Baptist Church Pastor John Taylor be given consideration for this important management, governance, and leadership position on Trenton City Council.
