This is an important message
from the City of Orange Township.

Winter storm warnings have been issued with heavy snow and dangerous driving conditions expected, beginning at 7 am tomorrow.

The City of Orange Township is requesting that residents that have off-street parking for their vehicles should remove any cars parked on the street. If you have off-street parking and your car is left on the street, it will be towed.

If you do not have off-street parking, your car should be moved off the street and parked in one of the lots listed below. These lots will be available for parking starting on Thursday morning February 18, at 7 am.  DO NOT PARK IN THESE LOTS BEFORE 7 AM.

* St. Matthew AME Church Parking Lot – 336 Oakwood Avenue
* Old Police Building Parking Lot – 593 Lincoln Avenue
* Bethel Baptist Church –  229 Wallace Street
* Orange High School Parking Lot – Clarendon Place
* Valley High School parking lot, between Nassau Street and Machesney Street
* United Methodist Church Parking Lot – 287 Park Avenue & Day Street
* Ebenezer Baptist Church Parking Lot- 153 William Street (Parking lot is located at 135 William Street)
* Church of the Epiphany & Christ Church Parking Lot – 105 Main Street
* Seven Day Adventist Church on Reynolds Terrace

And, the municipal lots located at:

* 24 South Center Street,
* 23 North Center Street,
* 29 North Day Street,
* and 319 Main Street

ALL CARS PARKED IN THESE LOTS ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19 MUST BE REMOVED BY 7 AM.  Any car left in a lot after that time will be towed.

Cars that are left in the street, that impede snow plows or emergency vehicles will be towed to the nearest designated tow lot. 

Removal of the cars from the streets will allow the entire street to be plowed on both sides of the street from curb to curb.
