An Important Update from Mayor Dwayne D. Warren Regarding the Coronavirus Outbreak

Dear Neighbor:

The City of Orange Township has 54 cases of Coronavirus as confirmed by the National Centers for Disease Control. That number will likely go up. Thankfully, we haven’t lost anyone in our community due to the virus. Five of our neighbors are waiting for their test results. Even as you receive this message, people may start to experience symptoms and then test positively for the coronavirus.

Remember: you can have the coronavirus and not know it. You can spread the coronavirus and not know it – because you may not exhibit any symptoms.

In order to combat the spread of the coronavirus, you must stay indoors and keep your hands clean. In fact, the Governor has ordered that all residents stay home. DO NOT go out unless it is absolutely necessary. If you must go out, then return home immediately, remove your clothes and bathe thoroughly.

Do not have any physical contact with anyone – no handshakes or hugs – and please keep your social distance of at least six feet away from people. The health and safety of our community are literally in your hands.

My wife and I are praying for your safety and the safety of your loved ones. And remember: please call the mayor’s hotline for assistance at 973-280-1621. Also, you may reach me directly on my cell phone number at 862-373-0025.
Take care.
Yours in Service,
Mayor Dwayne D. Warren, Esq.
