PSE&G Encourages Eligible Working Families to Apply For Tax Credit
PSE&G has joined state and local social service agencies in urging workforce members who are in financial difficulty to see if they are eligible for the 2019 Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and to take advantage of legitimate, free tax preparation services. EITC is a special credit that reduces the amount of taxes owed by eligible workers and sometimes provides a tax refund. For more information, please click here.
Additional Resources for Customers in Need
In addition to the 2019 Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), PSE&G offers other forms of assistance that may help PSE&G customers. One such resource or benefit may help customers who rely on electricity to operate life-sustaining equipment. It is important for customers to notify PSE&G if they, or a member of their household, rely on electricity to operate life-sustaining equipment, such as respirator or dialysis machine.
