February 18, 2020

Dear Business Leader:

You are cordially invited to attend a workshop to discuss the 2020 U.S. Census. It is important that all segments of our population become engaged with the Census because the population that is counted will determine how many representatives we have in Congress and, more importantly, how much in Federal funds we receive for schools, seniors, roads and a host of other services.

This workshop is being held especially for members of the Essex County Latino-American Chamber of Commerce. During this important gathering we will discuss how you can become involved and help get everyone counted. It will be held as follows:

Date:            Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Time:            2 p.m. (promptly)

Place:           Essex County LeRoy F. Smith, Jr. Public Safety Building

Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver Conference Room, 14th Floor

                     60 Nelson Place

                     Newark, NJ

Parking will be available in the Jurors Lot on South Orange Avenue.

Please extend this invitation to other business leaders who are interested in participating. Please RSVP by Tuesday, February 25th to Census2020@admin.essexcountynj.org or 973-621-4400. Together we will continue Putting Essex County First.

Sincerely,

Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr.

Essex County Executive
