The City of Orange Department of Public Works Leaf Collection Regulations
LEAF COLLECTION BEGINS OCTOBER 15th THROUGH DECEMBER 15th, 2018
ALL leaves and/or yard waste MUST be bagged in BIODEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS or placed in containers not exceeding 35 gallons.
NO PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED! All branches must be cut and tied in bundles no longer than four feet in length. Bagged leaves should be placed for pick-up by the curb, not in the street. Leaves CANNOT be piled in streets at any time.
DO NOT place trash, garbage or other yard rubbish in with leaves. DO NOT place leaves in catch basin. Landscaping Contractors and Property Owners are prohibited from blowing any type of yard waste into the street.
ALL Landscaping Contractors MUST have a permit by the City of Orange Township.
Biodegradable leaf bags are available for Orange Residents only while supplies last at Brook Alley Garage, 24 S. Center Street, Monday – Friday between the hours of 12:30pm – 3:00pm.
